What are it’s uses?
Juvederm Ultra 4 is designed specifically to target deeper lines and folds than others in the product line, and is also used for contouring deeper portions of the face. As it is a higher concentration product, it is not recommended for shallow or moderate lines or wrinkles. Utra 4, like other Juvederm Ultra products is a long-lasting dermal filler, intended to offer a natural alternative to neurotoxin based treatments.
What are the side effects of Juvederm Ultra 4?
While Juvederm Ultra 4 rarely causes any side effects, some mild ones may be experienced by people with sensitivities to the product. These temporary effects are generally mild and go away within a few hours of treatment. They include: redness, pain, itching, firmness, numbness, swelling, tingling or bumps near or around the injection site. If any of these side effects persist longer than expected, see a doctor immediately.

Should I take any precautions after the treatment?

Juvederm Ultra 4, like most dermal products, is not recommended for people with severe allergies with a history of anaphylaxis, multiple severe allergies, allergies to hyaluronic acid or other filler products, or allergies to lidocaine or other local anaesthetics, a history of autoimmune disease, recurrent sore throats, rheumatic fever, epilepsy, or porphyria.
